HISTORIC FARM HOUSE

Built in 1936, this house wasn’t without its quirks!  Many additions later, the once back yard fireplace complete with grill and pizza oven were now in the back den. Due to venting issues, we removed the grill on the left, added a propane tank, raised the firebox and created a gas fireplace that vents properly. The pizza oven on the right  has its own flu and is still functional! After gutting the kitchen, we reworked the cabinets to add a wall of much needed storage and updated the coffee bar as well. We lovingly referred to this house as the Honeybee House as all the original air grates were honeycomb shape. This was our personal home for four years and we absolutely loved the history and charm of this home and did our best to update it while embracing the best of its history.
